The band is a humble trio (sometimes duo) that plays original, Americana style music. We are based in the Atlanta metro area. We are a little haunted by the prairie, the wind, the shifting of tall grasses, the sound of crickets, and a lonesome train whistle drifting through the night.

A style that has evolved, melding the pure emotionalism and great guitar work of the blues with country, gospel and soul. Categories don't do justice to Sheffield because he effortlessly transcends genres to create what can only be called great American music. While he's steadily been gaining a reputation as an unsung hero in the roots community, Journal On A Shelf, and Got A Gig, Gotta Go are poised to break Sheffield on a national level. They're rare albums showcasing an artist as he is tapping into genius.

Joel Keeley is a 24 year old singer/songwriter from Philadelphia and now resides in Atlanta. He moved here in October 2020 during Covid to pursue music full time. When he was 16 years old he picked up banjo (and thought that would be his life forever), but not long after also pursued guitar with an indescribable obsession. From studying the fingerstyle world of Tommy Emmanuel and James Taylor, to engaging in frequent explorations of genres like jazz, pop, soul, funk and RnB, he began to write his own songs and craft a style of playing and singing that is unique and different to say the very least. He is currently playing full time as he also writes for a long anticipated album of original songs, some of which he’s carried with him for a long time. Some of which he hopes will change the world of anyone eager and willing to listen.

American born singer-songwriter and roots-rock artist Cody Marlowe found his inspiration at an early age in the soulful sounds of B.B. King, Merle Haggard, and The Allman Brothers Band. In the small town of Clermont, Georgia, Cody was born into a musical family. Marlowe was taught piano at a young age by his great-aunt and his mother, guitar lessons from his grandpa and uncle, and was influenced vocally by his grandma, aunt, mother, and sister. Katie (sister) sings with Cody in concerts and on many recordings. Marlowe’s songs explore the polarities of good and evil in an intriguing blend of lyrics featuring lost loves and hopeful musings.
